Nothing wrong with a dream

by Zero   Mar 9, 2006

You're sitting in your room,
Listening to the rain.
Trying to forget,
You're overwelming pain.

Suddenly, I ring the doorbell,
And say what I know is true,
Only three yet powerful words...
"..I love you."

I kiss you on the threshold,
I don't know how long it takes.
"Come in and close the door,
Before my mother wakes."

I sit on your bed in my
Wet clothing, refusing to have a drink,
I kiss you and forget,
How you always turn a little pink.

I give you a kiss goodbye,
Then I'm on my way.
And we're both thinking,
"This was the best day."

Hey, nothing wrong with dreaming, is there?
