True Love

She never knew how much she needed him until she woke up and he wasn't there

She never thought of telling him how much she cared

Until she found the note he laid by her head

as tears fell with every single word she read

He told her how his heart didn't belong to her anymore

No matter how hard he tried it just wasn't like before

He couldn't take it he didn't want his life to be this way

Those are the reasons he just couldn't stay

As she lowered the note and let it fall to the floor

she let the tears roll as she ran to the dresser drawer

Out she pulled a bottle of champaign

This would help,It would take away some of the pain

She just needed some way to escape

But it didn't end at that she was the one holding the knife with every scrape

She couldn't picture her life if he was the one

She didn't want to live she had no where to run

Everything reminded her of him in every single day

She was just like him she just couldn't stay

He was the one that found her lying face down in the bed

He couldn't believe what he saw he was to late she was already dead

He was coming back to tell her how he was wrong

And how he finally knew this was where he belonged

She didn't deserve it what he put her threw

She was the one who was always there and always true

He couldn't live with what he had done

She was it, She was the one

He wanted to be with her so he slit his own veins

This was it they'd feel no more pain

They both went where they'd be together up above

They took there own lives for each other because of true love!
