She never expected...

Can anyone tell me, why is she crying?
why is she talking about dying?
She is struggling with a pain inside,
she is trying a lot but not able to hide.

She did no mistake and no crime she committed,
but her fault is that all she expected.
Her expectations were too high,
crossing the limits and may be above the sky.

Love and happiness is all she wanted to share,
but the guy did not bother and not even cared.
She expected him to understand her a little bit,
but made a mistake and now she is going through it.

Her dreams and hopes are all broken and scattered,
all this is worst and nothing can be better.
Her emotions were used to make fun of,
he played with her and his love was a show-off.

Her feelings no more resides in her heart,
she is crying inside and dying apart.
The result can be so so unexpected,
again she never expected...

***i wrote this poem as i realized that we people (especially girls) have the tendency to expect a lot. and as a result we hurt ourselves. well! this is just what i felt.....please do comment.***

    Yes . . . and the more you expect that doesn't happen, the more hurt you get. Which is why I always expect the worst. . . The flow was great, and the rhyming was really great as well. Beautiful work, well done.

    Xellent poem indeed dear, great theme and i totally agree with whetever you said here, though i think that womens do deserve to expect so much as they do more than that too but then mostly expectations are never met and thats the worst part.

    Well, first of all I would like to thank you for commenting on my poems, you are so sweet. now getting to this poem.. wonderful, I love it. and yes its soo true, we as women expect too much.. and when we dont get what we expected, we blow it way out of proportion and hurt ourselves. so technically we shouldnt blame men when we are hurt but ourselves since it was partly out fault for expecting too much.
