Is it Good-bye

Is it Good-bye

I didn't really mean to,
Make you cry,
And baby,
Sometimes I always wonder why,
It always comes down to,
You leaving My side.
Why are you always,
On the verge of saying good-bye,
Before I can actually show you,
What I really feel inside,
Why do I say the things that hurt the most,
Until you break down and cry.

Baby, why do I do that to you?

You know,
I don't want you to walk away,
So why do I,
Push you till you break,
I don't mean the words I say,
cause it all comes down to hate,
Where it feels so lonely,
And my love for you is fake,
Baby, don't leave my side,
Come back to me, and stay,
Why do these little fights,
Always end up this way.

Baby, why do you do that to me?

When I say the three words,
"I love you,"
I do actually mean it,
I don't want to hurt you,
And I don't know why,
I do that to you,
I don't want our love to fall apart,
For us to break in two,
But it's so damn hard,
To know you wont say "I do,"
Because it makes me feel like,
There's no more me and you, and you don't love me too.

    Heidi:
This poem should be sung into a song, because these lyrics are soul-fulfilling and they sing a passionate weave of love. Sing this yourself, and the whole world would be in awe of your powerful writing.

Wow. your beautiful words weave a picture of true love. the sweet sorrow of goodbye is purely felt in this decadent piece of poetry.
