My Prayer

Dear Lord please hear this prayer
Don\'t look down on me and just stare

For i know sometimes i\'m not the best
But i sometimes feel i need a rest

To stop all pain in my heart
To free me of what tore me apart

To release my soul from this hurt
And to let you know i feel like dirt

Wether it be heart broken or just sad
I feel my life is pretty bad

I may not impress you with everything i do
And i\'m sorry i rarely pray to you

But now i stand before you with not a grin
But to beg forgiveness for every sin

I know my life isn\'t perfect
And to you i may not seem important

But just incase you hear me now
I want to let you know some how

I\'m sorry i can\'t be happy every day
Because life never goes my way

I don\'t expect sympathy for anything i may have done
I just want you to know i\'m trying to move on

I\'m sure you know this already
But i\'m tired of feeling heavy

Weighted down with all this pain
Its driving me insane

And so i ask you to help me along
