Don't you get it!?

by FlowerThatDied   Mar 9, 2006

The night darkened from pale blue to pitch black,
It was the darkness she needed back
To hide from the drugs and the pills,
Which seemed to torment her and close up the place she once filled,

That night he promised,
Next day he lied,
Next evening he smoked and replaced her again,
While she sat there pretending to be fine yet cried,

An innocent girlfriend of only thirteen,
Knew nothing of her boyfriend's secret dream,
Within the darkness she sat alone,
Pretending he was there and it was fine,
But now in her wrist she signs,
Secret lines of the love that got lost,
Within the moment without a toss,

It was fading with every single growing lie,
That made the girl with some much strength die,
Can't you see the cracks inside her heart?
Can't you see the tears though you're far apart?
Don't you sense the blood around you?
Don't you see what you've caused?
WHY THE F*C* DON'T YOU GET IT.

She loves him so, through it all,
But when she fell she found the floor,
Right in her face, she was left to fall!
The cuts will not ever leave your mind now,
This is the love you now have to hold!
