Watching From A Distance

by BrokenREALiTy   Mar 10, 2006

A painful trickle down my face
It's hard to describe how they taste
Every time I see that date
I want to question, Why this fate?
A single tear touches my tongue
As more pain is soon to come
I can still feel the touch of your lips
As tears flood my finger tips
I'm not willing to accept defeat
I want once more to taste that love so sweet
Every time I see you smile
I remember the moments that were so worth while
It reminds me of your love, your eyes
And of you, the person I now dispise
Seeing you every day with the girl I hate
Please don't tell me she's the one you want to date
Your always smiling, laughing, happy
Your giving her the love that once belonged to me
The feelings you once had disappeared too quickly
Does that mean that you never loved me?
Watching from a distance, I cry
Wondering, questioning, why?
On my sleeve, I wore my heart
Thinking that we'd never be apart
Now my face is stained with tears
As you begin to bring back all my fears
In pain from all the lies told
The truth of the story begins to unfold
How I feel, it's too hard to disguise
So I continue telling you so many lies
My tears taste of that in hell
As every last tear drop fell
Then, out my soul flew and good-bye I said
Gave away my heart and next I fled
Slitting my wrists, blood against blade
And then my world began to fade...

Oh yes, yours are definitely better than mine. Seriously, there's actually some emotion in this, even though the words are quite simple.

    So much betterrrr!

    Mine suck. End of story.
