Goodbye

As the days go on
I let a little of you go as I die a little more
You've said we're done
and maybe never be together again.......

But it hurts so much to say goodbye
so i do it with one last sigh...
as my worst fear comes true
....we're embracing for the last time.

I know this isn't gonna be easy
but the more I take in
and every smile that I learn to fake
is just one more problem that I learn to face.

My worlds now dark
it has been from the start
I can no longer control the pain
that has been hidden deep within my heart

Because i know that no one will ever take his place
but the thing is
he's given up on our love, so what am i left to do?
Except say goodbye to him too.
