Ideas go back and forth
They flip and flop in my mind
My life seems to stop in time
As I struggle for the words to write down how I feel
All these emotions in me start to reel
I think of the peaceful times i spend with God contemplating life
How I take all my feeling and turn them towards strife
Then He looks me in the eyes and says My darling baby girl,
I know what I am doing, just relax and give my ideas a twirl
Drop the reins let me control where your going in this world
I will get you to your destination
Remember now I made creation
Then i smile
Like a foolish crocodile
I realize how silly I have been longing for something I am not even ready for.
I will wait for Him to open up that door
Oh my gosh, i found the words to say
I am feeling great today
Please do not tell me my ideas are stupid
Someday you will understand
Because God loves you too.
He will help you thru
Just give it a twirl.
