Hello and Goodbye

by Mystic Enchantress   Mar 10, 2006

To say hello is often to say goodbye
But no mountain too high

Our mind like quicksand when we meet someone
We left shallow when one day they're gone
Or sometimes just go with the moon
And rise up back with the sun soon

Some come in winter and lost in spring
It is still an experience you can sing
Better to be loved and appreciate than not
Though you are receive and soon forgot

You cannot predict how your path would be
Faces just appear, come and go, set them free
Through failures and success you learn
Let wisdom be your guide as you earn

For at first it brings joy and excitement
Peace, love and contentment
Then leaves with or without resentment
But say goodbye without hate and anger
For that's just the way in which things are

Hello and promises make
Good-bye and promised brake
It is hard to give your best and no one please
It is hard to be pleased, so just put your heart at ease
