Graceless departing.

by Poppy   Mar 10, 2006

She bleeds sorrow,
And cry’s pain,
Her blood runs chilled,
And tears mingled with fears.

Crimson rivers flow,
And flood her mouth,
An invisible knife slices.
At her pale, taut stomach.

Sweet blood stretches out,
And kiss the floor,
Her delicate hand reaches out,
And part the air.

The tainted kiss of death,
Crawled out of her womb.
Glazed blue eyes,
Stared up into eternity.

One final hopeless scream,
Wretched out of her carcass
Graceless departing,
Her new death is staring.

One hand lay on her breast,
The other clawing the air,
Both legs spread,
And eyes forever watching,
Yet never seeing the sun die,
And the moon be born.
