See that Girl?

by SmallSurprise   Mar 10, 2006

See that girl standing,
All the way over there
There are tears running down her cheeks
Covered by wind-blown hair

Her heart was left wide open
Splitting down the seams
She opened up and let him in
And he stomped on all her dreams

She doesn't know how it happened
They had been so right
And now all she does is cry
Silently through the night

She thought she had learned her lesson,
Thought her heart was good as new
But nothing is ever the same
When it's held together with tape and glue

He looked straigt into her ees
Lovingly touched her face
Simply being close to him
Used to make her heart race

Now it's all pain and sadness
A feeling so hollow and numb
Because after all she did for him
He treated her like slum

Now her heart is bleeding
All over the floor
Because since that day he turned away
And walked out through the door

Now it's over and done with
A closed book for all he cares
Never has she been so empty
It's more than she can bear

See that girl laughing,
Standing over there
She just ripped up his picture
Now she just doesn't care.
