Trapped in the Past

Ive been trapped in the past

my hearts lost and gone

i have left it behind

in the place where i cant move on

my words have no meaning

my breath has been taken away

my soul has been stolen

in the past it will stay

my body has no feeling

my touch has lost its warmth

i refuse to go back

but am unable to go forth

my eyes cannot see

my feet cannot step

he has stolen my heart

in his hands it is kept

me ears cannot hear

my nose cannot smell

I am trapped in the past

my mind can only dwell

my thoughts are all gone

my life has no meaning

my heart cannot beat

i have stopped believing

ive been trapped in the past

my hearts lost and gone

i have left it behind

in the place where i cant move on

Im tied in a knot

that cant be untied

i have lost count

on all the tears ive cried

my hands cannot move

im unable to think

my eyes are swollen shut

i cannot even blink

i can no longer love

i have nothing to give

im trapped in the past

in his heart is where i live
