Everything a Mother Does

by Alexandra Jade Brewer   Mar 10, 2006

When you come home crying and in tears
she will hug you and hold you
she will say that boy doesn't deserve you
then she will make you your favorite meal

When you are getting ready
for your very first date
she will help you look great
then tell your dad to leave the poor boy alone

She will yell at you and punish you
when you have done something wrong
but even though she does this
you know you can tell her everything

She will act like a teenager
when all your friends are there
you will say: stop acting like a kid go away
but you still love her for being so amazing

You trust her with you life
and you will pull all nighters together
she will know everything about you and solutions to the problems
you consider her a best friend

Now I will tell you who plays my mothers role
My absolutely amazing father
He does everything I said
and much much more.

This poem is to my Dad, when my Mom past away he gave up his life to raise my brother and I, and he has become a best friend I will never no what I can do to thank him for always being there!
