Anguish

I feel blue today.
Even though the sun shines my way.
I want to cry,
Of knowing what was said could be all lies.

I felt anguish over this.
To feel the hate, I feel over you.
I was once a dreamer,
I've thrown it all away.

I cant explain the emptiness,
I have never felt this restlessness.
You contributed to my pain,
When you left, you left something behind.
