When you found me
I wasn't breathing
My eyes closed the look of defeat
I wasn't sleeping

You said my name
You laughed nervously
As if it were some kind of game

When you found me
You screamed "No!"
When they pulled you away
You told them you didn't want to go

They said it wasn't an accident
They said they were sorry
And that I didn't deserve this
