Away

by Ed or Ian Henderson   Mar 11, 2006

In summary, in misery
Cold hearts tend not to worry her.
Watching from a distance
She gathers warmth from the fire.
Things will go how she sees,
Like pollen on a summer breeze,
Oh God, she makes me seethe...
Wish she'd go away.

It's a travesty, she worries me
Warm hearts never find her.
Holding life's handrail,
She always skates the perimeter.
Things will run how she runs.
I know that she owns guns.
And it's no longer fun.
Wish she'd go away.

I didn't mean the subpoena
To have the effect that it did.
We both just had our own lives,
Had to think of my own kid.
Things went how she saw.
And now it's rubbing raw,
How past and future tore.
Now she's gone away
