Darkness in the Darkness: My Fear

Something poeple would see
As the silliest thing around.
What a strange thing to fear.

The dark in the night.

What an odd girl
To fear the night.

But what they don't know
And don't understand,
Or hear from lips of mine,
Is that this is,
This fear of the night,
Is not for the night itself.

It is a fear
For the things you can't see.
For the reasons unknown
In the deepest of places.

It is a fear
Of the sounds that go unheard.
Of the creatures
We know not about.

The shadows we can't see.
The dark in the night.
Where no light lays.

The darkness in the darkness.

Simple as that.
A fear poeple would funny.
A fear some would sat is real.
But they do not know....
They do not see
What I see
And hear
What I hear.

There is always something,
Something there
In the darkness of the night,
Where shadows won't lay.

The darkness in the darkness
Is my fear.
And it is real.
