Letting Go

Letting go is harder than I thought.
Old habits are hard to stop.

The toughest times are yet to come.
But this time I can't get up and run.

Too many people care and I'm in too deep.
I want help but feel out of reach.

The best I can do is help myself.
Until the time is right to receive my help.

At first I wanted to give up, I couldn't move on.
Now everyday I say "I'm strong,I'm strong."

For now that gives me the motivation I need.
I got to stay focus on my goal so that I can succeed.

So to everyone thats going through a bump in their life.
Don't give up and make choices that are right.

For me I've walked down a path of destruction.
Now its time to clean up, I call it reconstruction.
