Baseball is more than a game
Life has its troubles
But here they are nothing on the field
Thoughts are only pure
Every passing moment on the field
Does not take away from life
Frozen in time we are eternal
Spirits linger and friendships last
Every time stepped onto the field
Is no doubt better than the last
You are there my friend
It is yours forever
But only when we go there are we sane
Our spirits are one
Only there am I worthy of your presence
It is the one thing that makes us equal
Your life may be lost, but I still have a piece of you
Every-time I step on that field i feel your presence
It is the epitome of life. The Field is where we Live.

Hey, unfortunately the site doesn't allow me to leave comments on the love poems (it kicks me off my account) but I just wanted to say that I read those ones aswell and enjoyed both of them. I really like your style in writing. I especially liked this one and the way you brought baseball into the picture. It really gave it alot of unique quality and worked well to bring out the meaning of what you were saying. Great job.
