Room To Breathe

by MShadowsWhisper   Mar 12, 2006

Time simmers like a placid lake,
each life making a ripple,
ripple upon ripple until
everything is moving so much all looks still.

But if you were to stick an unknowing toe in,
youll find all the riffs and whorls
the under tow taking you,
taking you if you should let go.

as smooth as

glass,
glass plain,
glass plain covering,
glass plain covering heart.

each beat,
each ripple,
each life,
Time is a placid lake in winter.
