You make me feel like i can lift the world upon my shoulders

without worrying about my fate
I begged god to find me a friend who would be true
i begged god for someone just like you
And he told me on one dreary night
that no mortals there that could help my plight
and so i wept for i felt truly lost
no one to talk to no one to share my secrets
Once again i begged god for more

Months went by, years too
but still no friend did god give me
but i waited for a friend so true

Along came a night so filled with despair
i begged god once again
help me i called into the air
God must of heard my calls
my screams of pain
for they rang out
making me different never again the same
i cried myself to sleep there and then
Hours went by and i was woken by a comforting hand upon my shoulder
It was you the other half of my soul i felt it at once
You helped me to stand
grabbing my hand we looked into each others eyes
Your hazel eyes looked deep into mine
And suddenly it clicked
At last id found a friend
to whom i can confide
your always there should i need a lend
and so i thank you god for giving me this friend
For you truly are an angel
a gift sent down from god
God gave me his archangel in my time of need and despair
And so i thank him every day that he sent you to me
You are my best friend
