She couldn't stop

by heart broken   Mar 12, 2006

CUTTING Was the way she talked,
With the blood she bled,
Marking all the feelings,
That were left unsaid.

HELPED By nobody,
She did not wait.
She cut herself,
Nearly everyday.

HER Self-Esteem was,
Cut so low.
Yet, she never let,
Her feelings show.

For a while She was hypnotized,
She could not stop.
Then one day,
The knife was dropped.

BUT The pause,
Didn't last much.
She kept hurting,
With a new touch.

SHE Starved herself,
Thought she was fat.
So she skipped meals,
So she'd become flat.

COULDN'T Talk to her parents,
Or talk to her friends.
So she kept with cutting,
And starving trends.

STOP Was the thing,
She could not do.
So, misunderstood,
She locked herself in,
Her room...

She took out her blade,
Like many times before,
The blood started dripping,
And she sunk to the floor.
