You'll Never Be Forgotton

by Jayne...   Mar 12, 2006

A million times we've missed you,
A million we've cried,
if love could have saved you,
You never would have died.

Things we feel most deeply,
Are the hardest things to say,
Our dearest one we've always loved you,
In our very own special way.

We often sit and think of you and think of how you died,
To think we couldn't say Goodbye,
Before you closed your eyes.

No-one can see us weeping,
All the tears from our aching hearts,
While others are all sleeping.

If we could have one lifetime wish,
One dream that could come true,
We'd pray to god with all our hearts,
That you could be here too...

A write full of heartfelt emotion even after time has past. Some say time heals all wounds, but this proves otherwise.
