Perplexion

How can i stand my ground if i aint even grounded
but floatin around like im inna dream and my alarm aint sounded
i feel like i lost my mind
found it
lost it again
and itll come back whenever i can learn how to function around
you
push all my buttons
make me feel so heightened
elevated elated
throat tightens
knees get weak
cuz anytime i hear myself speak
its an outta body experience
like im livin my life thru instant replay and somebody else got ahold of the
remote
control is beyond me
honestly i caint be honest with even me
so i can i kno the truth behind these feelings
wat does it mean
i just need to come clean
everything aint wat it seem
you see
water can have the most crystal gleam
and turn out to be apart of the most polluted steram
maybe im one of those fish in that deceivin creek
just lookin for a way to seek
relief from the perplexion
that has bewildered and defiled my mind
has resurrected
a formula
a way to put an end
to the torture of
bein suspended in a whirlwind of emotions
floatin around like im

i just gotta take my hand off the snooze and
open my ears eyes and heart
turn around and face the music
who knew i had the answer all along to end the
confusion
so why havent i used it
