I Am

by Alexander   Mar 13, 2006

I am different, not I’m a good way, I am a hefty outcast
I wonder how the world really sees me
I hear criticism barking at me from the mirror
I see success on the other side of an endless maze
I want to feel loved, the same way I love her
I am different, not in a good way

I pretend to de doing all right
I feel like silence is the only one who hears me
I touch the wall, hoping that it will move, revealing my way
I worry about that of which is fine
I cry when I don’t achieve my own standards
I am different, not in a good way

I understand life will only get harder, my half-ass work will not do
I say that your success should be only as good as the expenditure of your friendship
I dream about things that will never happen
I try to be someone who is liked by others
I hope thing will work out according to my plans
I am different, not in a good way
