Spring Dawn Breaks Winter Night

by RainbowSlider   Mar 13, 2006

Dawn breaks and the night is gone.
The long winter sleeps and spring is awake.
Memories of us fade and reality is prolonged.
Morning is here for us to partake.

Dreams scatter to the four winds.
The endless cycle of days then nights.
Life goes on with survivors coming in.
Twilight burns into Noonday bright.

The dawn of a new day greets the morn.
The shadows of tomorrow are yet to come.
The time is upon us to be reborn.
The planting season is now for some.

Green grass separates the brown leaves.
March winds blow across the land.
The sky gets cloudy with the breezes.
Storms scratch the sky with a shaky hand.

Misty dewdrops change to pounding rain.
The earth stretches from its winter hibernation.
The world is alive with an active brain.
Snow birds fly away replaced by a new population.
