Lost It All

For the first time in my life
Somebody came my way
A boy who i fell in love with
A boy who felt the same way

He told me he adored me
I felt so good inside
For once i didn't hate myself
And had nothing to hide

I barely got to see him
My life just got in the way
But nothing could ever stop me
From loving him day by day

So why did it end so quickly?
I ask myself every night
How could this be over?
Something that felt so right

The next day he found another
And i was just pushed away
It left me feeling worthless
And i feel it to this day

He tells her how much he loves her
And i can quite clearly see
That no matter what he said
He never truly loved me

    I liked this poem. A suggestion, could you upper case your i's. Sorry just something I find annoying with people. Doesn't take away from the poem though. I'm going to rate this a 5 because of the words. :)
