I'm Finally Free!

I want to let you know!
I want to shout it out!
I want to declare it to the world
Without a single doubt!

I'm over him!
He's finally gone from me!
Oh, people can't you see?
I'm finally free!!

There's this other guy, you see?
Oh he's a real angel, this one!
Mmm, he looks so good,
My heart, he has won.

He now holds it,
Let's see what he'll do with it.
Will he drop it on the ground,
Or will he hold it close to his?

I feel like I'm in paradise again.
They've missed me here.
The people in my gloomy world
Were getting tired of me there.

The people here
Are few and far between.
Too many have been hurt,
Not many feel like a queen.

I'm sure I'll see the others soon.
I know the other guy will be back.
No, I know he's not done with me yet,
With getting into my heart, he has a knack.

He will sneak his way back in there
Without me knowing for awhile.
He will get in there,
So he could see my smile.

Then when he's done with it,
He knows what to do.
You all know what happened last time,
Well, don't you?

But right now, I've got my other guy
Fully on my mind.
I can't wait to see him again,
This time, I won't be blind.
