The day it all started (unforgetable)

Ill never forget that day
when some people thought the world was going to come crashing in
people were watching crying
where their loved ones were
or even if they were still living
all watching the tragedy on TV
holding their family and friends tight
and part of us hoping that our loved ones weren't one of them and praying they would come home that night
not long after
we find ourselves fighting a war against Iraq
some people will never return alive
while some sit here and think nothing of it
maybe sometimes is all it takes is it to happen to our family
and maybe some will never realize
all that those men and women do everyday
and how much they give each day
laying there lives right there on the line
just so we can be free and live happily and safe
