Line

by Daniel   Mar 13, 2006

Getting up to the line. Looking at the other person on the side of me. Nodding heads singles that we are going to run. The RPMS going high. Hand on the shifter. Heart beating fast hands sweaty. Arms go down singling lets go. Fast take off from both. Rubber burning tires smoking. People line up from both sides of the street. Looking ahead not looking back thinking I'm I going to make it. Faster faster. Pushing the car to the limits. Trying to win respect. Trying to get something that I heart for. Hits the N.O.S. button hitting 140mph know that I can lose control of this car anytime. But maybe respect means more to me then my life.
