The Pain Lying in the Rain

by Hailey Jade   Mar 14, 2006

I was pouring down rain,
All the girl could feel was pain,
Earlier that day she had been at school,
When she found her best friend had called her a fool.

How could this happend she said,
She found a note and it read,
Meet me tonight at the corner store,
I promise you it wont be a bore.

The girl dreading the meeting,
She didn't want to get a beating,
Telling herself that it would all be fine,
And that she'd be home before nine.

When she met her friend she something in her hand,
Thinking to herself the girl said oh wont this be grand.

Her friend gave her a hug,
That was tight as a bug in a rug,
THen she felt something sharp plunge into her,
Everything was a blur.

Lying there as her friend fled,
She bled,
It was pouring down rain,
All the girl could feel was pain.
