Another killer behind bars

Sitting across the court from him
the only reason i don't make him pay is the glass that keeps us separated.
every word that comes out of his mouth is a lie
a few fake tears added to his phony alibi.

sitting here listening to this c r a p
i wonder if he means any of it at all
if he feels remorse.
I'm already missing you god took you way to soon.
i just wish it didn't have to be this way.

my own tears fall now as he finally gets convicted
now that justice has been done his guilty verdict herd.
I'm still here without you but at least now there is a chance to grieve.
so fly high with the angels sis
your murder has at least put another killer behind bars.
