Little girl

I close my eyes and see a face
A little girl who cant erase
The pain inside is a weight
To the world she cannot escape

She fights so hard to make things right
Cause deep inside a light burns bright
Time goes on and she loses hope
Her joy in life so little has grown

She opens her mouth to make a sound
But the words wont come out
Does she have what it takes
Has she learned from her mistakes

Can she make it on her own
Will she survive all alone
She made it through times before
But is it to late to open the door

Shes made up her mind to prove them wrong
But still at times she wants to belong
Those little things can mean the most
Maybe thats why she cant let go
