To move on in present day
means you have
to forgive and forget the past
but what happens when
your body is willing to move on
and your mind is still stuck in yesterday
how do you prepare
a broken heart for more
heartache
telling it to be strong
while everyday its waiting to break
how do you tell yourself mentally
not to give in for
another mind torturing penalty
living day to day is confusing
really painful,
meeting nice people
but when it comes to love & trust
refusing
and running away
making people understand
that I'm happier and
better off on my own
is impossible to do
when they all know i feel
so alone
i sit on my bed
with visions in my head
of tomorrow...living on my own
in my own quiet home
only problem is when i
blink i come back to
yesterday
with all the tears
all the pain
my heart breaking
all over again.
