What makes love so great?
Its such a big risk
that we're willing to take.
It's amazing how quickly
we tend to fall,
because of every
late night phone call.
It startswith a rose,
then a teddy bear,
next comes the bracelet,
or necklace to wear.
Two arms that wrap around us,
that make us feel so loved.
Two arms that make us feel,
like he could be the one.
Every soft, gentle kiss,
hello or goodbye,
tells us that he cares,
and that its gonna be alright.
Every joke that he makes,
to bring us up when we're down,
He loves it when we smile
and doesn't want to see us frown.
The look in his eyes,
the way that we feel,
it's so amazing,
b/c it seems so real.
But what happens when its not?
When all the magic's gone,
or was never there at all?!
One heart gets broken,
it's almost never both.
Tears won't stop flowing,
can it get any worse?
Love begins and ends with a fall,
The risk that we took,
is what we blame it on.
What makes love so great?
Maybe it's not so great afterall...
