My Encounter With Death

by Theo   Mar 15, 2006

He stopped as I walked
Pulled up in a black car
Where were we headed?
I guessed God was not far

It was him and I
On the back country road
He knew no direction
A speed of him own

We collided with mountains
Saw sun, rain, and snow
Wherever death took me
I had no worries to know

We stopped at her house
With the "D" at the peak
And as tears ran down
Death started to speak

He said, "Go and be happy..."
"But later you trust,"
"l'll be back someday."
"This deed is a must."

I smiled at death
To me, birth, he paid
He comforted me
And I was no longer afraid

He drove off into fog
As I walked to the door
He had given me a chance
To live freely once more.

Omg i loved it. at first i didn't understand it lol..because i didn't get the car driver was death (sorry i'm a little sleepy ^^)..so i read it again and i got it haha.. and i was so amazed...it drove too many thoughts into my head. second chances are so important, and when u have to make the most of it, in this case life.. that is so fragile and u never know when death may take it away from u..so every moment is a chance for just so many things we use to leave behind or leave them for later. Great piece of work.
