Before You Say I Love You

by Unbreakable   Mar 15, 2006

Wrapped up in your arms,
Looking at the moon,
The warmth of your presence,
Oh how it makes me swoon.
This feeling is magical,
Unable to define.
Life has been perfect,
Since the day you were mine.
You whisper our future
Into my ear,
While making my heart swell,
You take away every fear.
But the moment you tense up
And look me in the eyes,
The romantic girl inside
Vanishes and dies.
Before you say I love you,
Thereâ??s something you should know.
If you say those 3 words,
Youâ??ll have to let me go.
I could never be
What youâ??re looking for.
I could never love you
With a heart so sore.
I know that you may hate me,
But itâ??s for your own good.
If I were able to love you,
Just know that I would.
