If Only You Could See

If only you could see
What lies deep down

If only you could see
What makes me frown

When you look at me
You can hardly tell

You don't know i'm sad
Or that i'm not well

All i need
Is someone to care

And i'll be okay
Life would be easier to bare

But i lose everything
And no one ever stays

I lose my nerve
And have gloomy days

So leave me to be
And hand me my knife

If only you could see
What really makes my life

    Jennifer, I am an English teacher at a small school in AR. One of my students showed me your poem, and I thought it was really good!! You definantly have a future in writing.
