A Brother's Grieving Heart

by Beauty Within These Pages of Darkness   Mar 15, 2006

What am I going to do now?
I still can't believe that I've lost you,
Inside, deep down, I'm hurting,
I was helping you through.

Those horrific times,
Getting you on the straight and narrow,
But look what you left me with,
A grieving heart, pierced by an arrow,

The arrow of death,
Hit me with its poison,
Right in my chest,
It will incessantly hurt me,
Up until my very last breath,

This poison will last forever,
So Jo, I send you my last kiss,
Because it will be you,
Who I'll always miss,

So she has chosen her path,
Her poetry, I considered it art,
But no matter what I say,
I'm still another brother,
Left with a grieving heart,
