Meant to be

As i step into this world
i realize how everything has now become so twirled.
all these couples so happy
smiling their smiles, dreaming their dreams.
why cant you see that we're meant to be?
all the memories we could share when your fingers run thru my hair.
would you even care or would you tear us apart?
why do you want to go and break my heart?
the first time we kissed, i knew something was there, i just never understood who you cared.
i wish i could hear your voice once more, look deep into your eyes and know that this was true.
hold your hand like i used to while walking down the streetwith your arms around me so tight. why should this have to end in a fight?
i pray to God everynight for Him to open your eyes and show you that this is right.
i just wish you could see that we were always meant to be.
