It's not that good a poem but i had to let it out, it's not about a lost love because it hadn't started in the first place

i can't help it if i destroyed you
i never meant to hurt you
i just cant give you my heart
because it isn't mine to give

i gave it away a long time ago
and it ended up being given back broke
it won't be fixed and you're worth more then that

you've been there all along
fixing me up, making me better
watching me fall watching me fail
but never once judging me

you saw me for what i was
a broken girl with a broken heart
you gave me your all
but i couldn't give you it back

you brought me back to life
you gave me back my smile
you gave me everything apart from
the thing i need the most

see the problem is
without my heart a whole
i can't give it to another
and I'll never get it back

i love you babes
but not the way you want
I'll always have a special place
in what's left of my broken heart
just for you and everything you've done
