Simple Phone Call

It was a simple phone call
Set up by a friend...
After all of this time and all,
You were waiting there at the end

So much time has past
And i thought that you forgot about me
But it seems that our memory did last
You obviously remembered me clearly

Every word you say to me
Can make all wrong turn right
And something else i see
Is how i think of you all night

I haven't felt this way in a while
But I'm not complaining
It's just weird to smile
And the smile is remaining

It's a flirtatious thing now
But i want something more
Now i need to figure out how
To tell you, like i should've before

You can make me smile
And i can make you laugh
You can walk that extra mile
And i can figure out the aftermath

How do i tell you i want you
When we standing on thin ice?
What am i supposed to do
This feeling feels so nice...

I would wait forever for your touch
I would cry rivers to take away your pain
I don't know why i care so much...
But this feeling, i want it to remain

I need to tell you i care
I want to hold you so bad
I want you to be there
& I'll be the best you've ever had

So here we go...
I'm planning out on what to say
Oh no, what will i say? I don't know...
If i want to say how i feel, it would take all day...
