I always considered you a friend
but i don't really think you cared
we never really talked much
we've had our laughs
and our doubts with each other
I've worried about you
and you've worried about me
our love for poetry has brought us together
we've been through it all
we've known each other for so many years now
friends since kindergarten, don't you remember?
our pumpkin patch we made on the door, it looked like a tree
but it wasn't a tree, it was a pumpkin patch
those days in math sure were fun
even when you weren't speaking perfect English, i understood you
remember when i completely owned that pyramid game?
or my beautiful drawing of a rat and frog, please on leave forever
so many good times, we could never forget
if you left without a word, i would be the first to notice
and i would never be able to stop crying
you are my best friend, you really understand my pain
I'll always be there for you
and i really truly care
for i love you, dear care bear
