Night Terrors

Tugging your covers,
tossing and turning,
the darkness it smothers,
your nightmares returning

You dream your fighting,
you dream your dying,
you dream you loosing,
you dream your crying

Its always the same,
you're always the one,
to be left standing,
and crying in the freezing rain

The darkness of the night,
And the sleep you really need,
Leave you in a helpless fight,
and a place you shouldn't be

Though its only terror,
only a bad dream,
you feel its much more,
much more then it seems

But if its only a dream,
just something you fear,
with something so bad,
how do you deal?
