Another Miserable Day.

Another Miserable Day:

Where is the sun, I cannot see?
Where is the air, I need to breathe?
Gone are those who once said they
were close to me and would never leave.

Grey skies, my life is overcast
in just so many different ways.
Gone are all the colors now turned
to purple, black and grey.

Once there was laughter, now
there is just plenty of room for pain.
An open wound with sea salt
rubbed in, driving me insane.

Honesty and faith have given me
away, like an orphan with no one to play.
Kindness I have not seen for so many days,
gone is all my trust into the grave.

Where can I turn, what more can I say?
My thoughts are wearing thin with
every single long tormenting day.
Cold and numb, all my feelings are frayed.
