Glass Shattered on the Floor

by Kaley   Mar 16, 2006

Drop a glass,
Watch it shatter,
Walk on it,
The pain don't matter,
Bloody feet stain the floor,
Doesn't matter anymore,
Walk up the stairs and hang my head,
Sobbing lay down in bed,
Drift to sleep,
To forget the pain,
Hoping life will be okay,
When I finnally awake,
Wake up with the sun shinning on my skin,
Look for a sign that a better life will begin,
Remember the pain,
The glass shattered on the tile,
Lay back for awhile,
Pain will be gone,
When I drift back to sleep,
My soul is wounded,
My pain is deep.

Wow...i love how you paint the picture...it was easy to imagine and play it out in my head...very good only i hope your okay! i dont know if this is about your life but if it is you'll get better....im kinda in the same boat...when i wake up i look for a sign that a new life can begin like you said...not that theres much wrong with it...its just that im a perfectionist and must have everything just right...N E ways real good poem!!

p.s. thanks for your comments on my poems---we should do this more----cuz the majority of people are to lazy to comment on others---so keep in touch!
