HE will always be there

Look at us
what have we become
can't say a word
with out it being bad
can't tell a life's story
without it being sad
can't tell a joke
without it ending in profanity
we take lies over truth
where is our sanity
shot down with our purity
and our fake self-esteem
we're all who we shouldn't be
all looking to fill the space
looking in this place
we try and try again
but with this world, we'll never win
we'll never find it
we hold on to to much
we have everything and more
yet, still it's not enough
I can't look at my family and friends
without it bringing me to tears
they need something to hope in
some where to lay down their fears
I know they answer
It's right in front of them
they just can't see it
their blinded by this sin
their screaming for help
someone to save them
Jesus, do they realize what you gave them
and how awesome this would be if they'd let you in
you would hold their heart
and never break it
you would love forever
and never fake it
please help me say it
Jesus can take it all away
He loves you more
than I could ever say
So come on and find out
step out from the dark
let go of the doubt
Jesus loves you
stop looking to this world
it won't take you anywhere
but, He will never leave you
Jesus will always be there.
