Confessions in the darkness

by Ashes of a Black Rose aka Night Child   Mar 16, 2006

I really want to write,
But I don't know what to say.
I could confess my secrets,
But that would take all day.

I really want to tell you,
But the truth is that I can't.
It's not that I don't trust you,
But you just might not understand.

You won't get what I'm saying,
You just will not completely comprehend.
And I know you won't accept this gift:
My broken heart for you to mend

You will not believe me,
And all that I will declare.
So my love for you stays silent,
For rejection I cannot bear.

Sorry it took so long to give you your comment. Heehee, I got behind. But this poem really speaks to who you are 'cause your profile talks about everything you just wrote about....fear of rejection, never saying how you feel out loud, ending up alone. And I really like it when ppl stay true to who they are. Great job and keep up the good work! :)
