Final Battle

by mookoo   Mar 17, 2006

Compassion engaged,
in feats of denial and rage,
young love blossoms,
beyond imaginations fathoms,

torn apart as the storm ravages,
yet this love can be salvaged,
in acts beneath shadows,
where fate hath evil bestow,

pretty girl bathed in her blood,
seen by his eyes abhorred,
her love is torn unimaginable,
as her blood pours and distills,

his pulse beats ferociously,
scared and in mind set anxiously,
panic as his blood first flows,
his throat caught and crying low,

he’s coming to join her at last,
as times obscured them in past,
he smiles as his last breath settles,
ending his life’s final battle,

suicide beckons to those who call,
know only that they shall fall,
and in love was this blood poured,
ending this song on a sad chord.
